Know Your Miranda Rigths

Perhaps a Key Word everyone should know is "Imminent Danger" . Simply put, if someone comes knocking on your door and they have no proof of imminent danger, don't let them take your children. You may slightly open the door and show the children are in no danger. So many forget that being poor and/or an untidy home doesn't equal abuse.

For those who have been faced with an allegation of abuse, I like to call this the first phase of this process... ie by not letting them in. Too often, once a child is in the clutches of and Child Protective Agency, they may not get their children back again, unless they truly know how to defend themselves and/or fall for the false information presented by the agency.

  If a legal team comes back and says no, nay, never, then ask them to show you the law.
  Let that be your mantra -

Let them get out the statute, code, whatever from the state, and show you what the law is. Then you can check it out against the Constitution.

Miranda Dog Tags for Your Children

Idea Description

I am the CA. Director for NFPCAR (National Foster Parent Coalition for Allegation Reform) & we are a non profit online support group for families who have been falsely attacked by CPS or the Juvenile Justice System. Our support group is developing "Miranda Dog Tags" as a "safe-guard" for children that will protect them from being forced to talk to "strangers" who try to interview them without the parents present. On one side of the tag would have personal contact information and the other side would have a brief "Miranda" statement for the child to use when needed. These Dog Tags can be worn by any child and presented when cornered by strangers. Directions for proper use will be included.

This idea is meant for ALL parents...children...biological, foster, adoptive or kinship care. We at NFPCAR totally AGREE that the common enemy is CHILD PROTECTION SERVICES...(CPS) and we ALL need to stand together in this fight. As soon as we can get these "dog tags" manufactured and on the market they will be offered to "anyone"...not just foster families. Anyone who is interested in joining together in this fight for justice please feel free to join our NFPCAR group by going to...the bottom of this page...and signing up. Our support group is FREE to anyone who wants to join and we are open to any and all parents, grandparents and kinship caretakers. What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?

If our idea wins, the $10,000 prize will be deposited into our NFPCAR treasury to be used to pay for our initial "Miranda Dog Tag" order and to put our non-profit business on its feet. It will also be used to financially aide foster parents who find themselves in this unfortunate position & who need immediate help. In addition we are developing a variety of "self-help" e-books, CD's and online support for anyone who finds themselves in trouble with the system.
